There have been a lot of very excited children in Room 1 today!
We started our day by making bread. This involved using lots of the skills we have been learning throughout the term. We had to read and understand the recipe, use our fractions knowledge to measure the ingredients and we shared the bread just like Jesus did at The Last Supper.
Once the bread was made we practised serving our friends, by washing their feet, just as Jesus did. This was a funny activity, we found out that lots of people have ticklish feet.
We finished the day with our end of term treat, the great pyjama party! Fancy wearing your pyjamas at school! We spent the afternoon watching a movie and munching on popcorn all while in the comfort of our PJs. What a fun day! Miss Satherley is now ready for her pyjamas.
