Everyone had a great time at Ferrymead on Wednesday. We learnt loads about the things people did in the early 1900s. Our favourite things were dressing up and making cookies in the bakery.
Looking excited about doing the washing 1900 style.
Scrub a dub dub!
Dusting and vacuuming the front room.
Pela and Herman get the prize for bed making, looking great guys.
Sweeping the front path.
Doing the ironing.
Waiting for school to start outside the school house.
Miss Black explaining the rules for school in 1900.
Starting the school day with a song to the King.
Weighing out products in the General Store.
Carefully wrapping the sand soap.
Working hard in the bakery on our cookies.
