Whip scorpions family is called thelyphonidae.

Whip scorpions have powerful claws they are also long, and have thin tails. There skin colour is brown.  There claws are strong and heavy.  They have eyes on the back of their head and they have eight eyes. Whip scorpions are from 2 to 7 cm. Whip scorpions have 10 legs.

Whip scorpions live in Europe, America, Asia and Africa.

Whip scorpions eat insects, grasshoppers, worms, slugs and Frogs.

Whip scorpions predator is a tarantula.

The whip tail scorpions have a courtship dance before they mate. The baby stays on the female's back for 50 days until it is a adult.

A whip scorpion is interesting because the baby whip scorpion has to stay on the female's back for 50 days not like people.
